The Bluewater Bay Echo is in the process of applying for registration with the Press Council of South Africa and to Print and Digital Media SA for proper Press accreditation.
This will ensure that we have to abide by the rules and regulations regarding fair and honest reporting plus ensure the right of reply to anyone that feels aggrieved by any article we publish.
The registration will assist in opening doors to SAPS and other organisations that demand proper media credentials in order to grant interviews on subjects of interest for our readers.
This will result in slight changes to our website that will enable us to cover both national and community news.
